CREATIVE WRITING

The Search for Manhood, A Guide for Today's Men & Women, R&E Publishers, Saratoga, CA 1992 (author name was Scott Leighton). This is a book of essays on men's and family issues - reference categories include sociology, psychology and humor.

Museum of the Mind, Scott Creative and Technical Services, Greencastle, PA 2009 (author name was Scott Layton). This is a novel set in Baltimore in 1993 when the Inner Harbor was new. The main character is a loving father who has his life severely disrupted when he is falsely accused of sexual harassment at work and must rebuild his life while at the same time exploring single life and being a good father. The book is very descriptive and draws heavily on the author's own experiences with people, places and adventures around Baltimore after his own divorce. It was designed to be a movie, and a registered screenplay exists titled, "Until Tomorrow Comes".
